SWIM TEAM REGISTRATION AND PARENT'S ORIENTATION:
MONDAY, JUNE 10 – 6:00 P.M.
Fair Lawn Community Center, 10-10 20th Street
(Registration forms and all Swim Team information will be available this evening.)
All NEW Swim Team Participants and Parents must attend.
The swim team is part of a Community Swim League that competes against teams from Ridgewood, Radburn and Wyckoff. The swim team registration fee is $25.00. Cash or checks only. Checks can be made out to the “Borough of Fair Lawn”. No tryouts are involved and practices are held Monday through Thursday from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. (depending on the child’s age and ability). Any camper enrolled in the Fair Lawn Recreation Summer Camps will swim at the 9:00 a.m. practice time slot and then report to camp to start their day.
Swimmers are required to be members of Memorial Pool and are required to purchase a team swimsuit. These swimsuits will be available for fitting at this first team meeting. Female one piece is $47.75 each, Male jammers are $39.75. This year Metro Swim Shop will be taking cash, check or credit card (No Amex). Additional accessories will be available for purchase. The deadline for registration is Friday, June 14.
The Parent’s/Participants meeting will be held on Monday, June 10 at 6:00 p.m. sharp at the Fair Lawn Community Center (10-10 20th Street). The first practice of the season will begin on Monday June 24 and the season will conclude at the end of July.
