BOROUGH OF FAIR LAWN
REVISED Notice of Annual Meeting of the Mayor and Council for 2025
In accordance with the Open Public Meetings Act, P.L. 1979, c.231 (N.J.S.A. 10:4-6 et seq.), this notice shall serve as the Revised Annual Meeting Notice for 2025 of the Borough Council of the Borough of Fair Lawn pursuant to N.J.S.A. 10:4-18. All regular meetings shall be held in the Council Chambers on the second floor of the Municipal Building, 8-01 Fair Lawn Avenue, Fair Lawn, New Jersey. All Work Sessions shall be held in Conference Room 201 on the second of the Municipal Building.
All members of the public in attendance will have the opportunity to comment during the public comment period of each meeting. The meeting date and/or time appearing below in bold underline represents a revised meeting date and/or time.
Reorganization Meeting - Tuesday, 7:00 p.m.

Regular Meetings will be broadcast live by Fair Lawn TV for viewing on Cablevision Channel 77 or Verizon FiOS Channel 37 and livestreamed for viewing on www.fairlawn.org
The agenda for each meeting will be available on the Borough’s website at least 48 hours prior to the meeting.
Formal action may be taken at any of the above-listed meetings. Portions of all meetings may be held in executive session to the extent allowed by law.

Notice Scheduled Meetings for 2025 - Boards and Commissions
The following is a schedule of public meetings to be held by the various Committees and Boards within the Borough of Fair Lawn. In the event that the schedules are hereafter revised, notice of such revised meetings shall be posted and published as required by the Open Public Meetings Act, P.L. 1979, c.231 (C10:4-6 et seq.) or other applicable law. All meetings are to be held at the Municipal Building, 8-01 Fair Lawn Avenue, Fair Lawn, New Jersey unless otherwise indicated.
Arts Council
Meetings are normally scheduled on the 2nd Monday of each month at 7:30 p.m.
Zoom Meetings will continue until April 2024 followed by in person meetings at the Fair Lawn Community Center. Please contact art@fairlawn.org to request meeting information.
Community Relations Advisory Committee
Meetings will be held on Mondays at the Municipal Building, 8-01 Fair Lawn Avenue, Room 201, beginning at 7:30 p.m. prevailing time unless otherwise noted.

Environmental Commission
Meetings will be held in Room 201 of the Municipal Building, Wednesdays, beginning at 7:30 p.m., prevailing time unless otherwise noted, first Wednesday of every month unless otherwise noted.
Fair Lawn Alliance for Substance Abuse Prevention (FLASAP)
Meetings will be held on Wednesdays at the Municipal Building, 8-01 Fair Lawn Avenue, Room 201, beginning at 6:30 p.m. prevailing time unless otherwise noted.
Fair Lawn Main Street
Meetings will be held on the second Wednesday of the month at the Municipal Building, 8-01 Fair Lawn Avenue, Room 201, beginning at 7:00 p.m. prevailing time unless otherwise noted.
Fire Board
Meetings will be held at Company #1, located at 12-34 George Street, on Wednesdays, beginning at 8:00 p.m., prevailing time unless otherwise noted.
Green Team Advisory Committee
Meetings will be held in Room 201 of the Municipal Building, beginning at 7:30 p.m.; prevailing time unless otherwise noted.
Health Advisory Board
Meetings will be held on Wednesdays in Room 215 of the Municipal Building, beginning at 9:00 a.m. prevailing time unless otherwise noted.
Historic Preservation Commission
Meetings will be held at the Fair Lawn Community Center, 10-10 20th Street in the Card Room No. 110, on Wednesdays 7:00 p.m., prevailing time unless otherwise noted. The Program night is held in the Community Center Auditorium at 7:00 p.m.
Library Board of Trustees
Meetings will be held in the Library Director's Office. Maurice Pine Free Public Library, beginning at 8:00 p.m., prevailing time unless otherwise noted.
Planning Board
Work Sessions begin at 7:00 p.m., Room 201, Regular Meeting begins at 7:30 p.m. or immediately following in the Council Chambers, prevailing time unless otherwise noted.
Formal action may be taken any meetings of the Planning Board.
Rent Leveling Board
Meetings will be held in Room 201, Tuesdays, beginning at 6:30 p.m., prevailing times unless otherwise noted.
Senior Citizens Advisory Committee
Meetings will be held on Mondays at the Senior Center, 11-05 Gardiner Road, beginning at 5:30 p.m. prevailing time unless otherwise noted.
Zoning Board
Meetings will be held in the Council Chambers, on Mondays, beginning at 7:00 p.m. prevailing time unless otherwise noted.
