Volunteer Opportunities
Volunteering can be very rewarding. You will be able to work with public professionals who are committed to quality and excellence in the delivery of all Borough services. Volunteering allows the Borough to utilize its citizens in a unique and challenging way.
Fair Lawn Boards, Committees & Commissions:
Generally, these groups are staffed by dedicated volunteers. If you are interested in volunteering for a Board, Committee or Commission, please contact the Municipal Clerk's office for appointment procedures. Any person interested in service on a municipal board, committee or commission shall complete a Volunteer Leadership Form.

Veteran Assistance:
Available to anyone 13+ in age | Assisting Veterans with minor chores such as lawn mowing, snow removal or removing an air conditioner. Some heavy lifting or physical labor is to be expected.
Transportation for Veterans: (Valid NJDL required, 18+) Volunteers who are able to drive to VA doctors’ appointments or necessary Veteran related offices at no charge to the Veteran.
Fair Lawn TV:
Fair Lawn Television Productions, Inc. is always looking for dedicated volunteers to assist us in the production of television programs, live broadcasts and our community bulletin board. Volunteers do not need any previous television experience and will be trained by FLTV Productions. Experience with a home video camera is helpful to new volunteers. Volunteers are required to attend one meeting per month, participate in the production of at least one show and assist in the live broadcast of Borough Council meetings.
