Chief Mahoney served as Chief of the Rescue Squad in 1982 after serving as the Chief of the Fire Department in 1979. He served as Rescue Chief for over a decade.
Chief Mahoney was a good role model for the young members of the Squad. Chief Mahoney brought in a lot of experience and knowledge that helped mold many of the young members.
