Swim Team - "The Riptide"

The Fair Lawn Swim Team is part of a community swim league and will compete against the teams from Ridgewood, Radburn and Wyckoff. The swim team registration fee is $25.00. Cash or check only accepted. Checks written to "Borough of Fair Lawn. No tryouts are involved and practices are scheduled Monday through Thursday from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. depending upon the child’s age and ability. Any child enrolled in the Fair Lawn Recreation Summer Camps will be scheduled for the 9:00 a.m. practice slot and then report to camp to start their day.

Swimmers are required to be members of Memorial Pool and purchase a team swimsuit. These will be available for fitting at the Parent/Participant team meeting on Monday, June 9 at 6:00 p.m. at the Fair Lawn Community Center Gymnasium. Female one piece swimsuits are $47.75 each and male jammers are $39.75 each. Metro Swim Shop will only be taking credit card payment only this year. Additional accessories will also be available for purchase. The deadline for Swim Team registration is Friday, June 20. The first practice will begin on Monday, June 30 and the season will finish the end of July.
