Community Project Funding

The proposed funding will be used to install a liner in the inside of the existing 80-year-old sewer pipeline, reconnect the existing laterals, and seal the existing manholes from River Road to the South Siphon Pump Station. Through this project, the Borough of Fair Lawn will halt the infiltration of roots, ground water, and grit from the open joints of the existing pipeline and reinforce the stability of the pipeline for future, prolonged functionality, thus extending the life of the existing pipeline and promoting a cost-effective way to address the Borough's imminent threat to public health, safety, and the environment.
