Important Update: Fair Lawn Police Department Overnight Parking Requests

Effective **April 1, 2025**, the **Fair Lawn Police Department** will no longer utilize the **Metro Message** telephone service (**201-794-5399**) for overnight parking requests. Instead, all requests must be submitted exclusively through the **police department’s website**.  

To register a vehicle for **overnight parking between 2:00 AM and 5:00 AM**, drivers must visit fairlawnpd.com/parking and enter their **license plate information**. The online system is available **24/7**, and requests may be submitted no earlier than **24 hours before the requested parking date**.  

**Please note:** The provisions of the Borough’s parking ordinance remain unchanged:  

  • Vehicles may be registered for **up to two (2) consecutive nights**.  
  • A maximum of **14 nights per calendar year** is permitted.  
  • The ordinance applies to **all public and municipal parking areas**.
