Special Events

Planning an event on Borough-owned property? A Special Event Application is required for individuals and nonprofit organizations hosting events such as festivals, walks, races, concerts, celebrations, and other public gatherings.

Applications must be submitted at least 45 days before the event to allow time for review and coordination with Borough departments. Depending on the nature of the event, organizers may be responsible for the cost of extraordinary municipal services, such as police, public works, or other support. Borough-based nonprofit organizations receive a reduced rate for these costs. 

All organizers must provide proof of liability insurance, sign a hold harmless agreement, and comply with all Borough requirements before the event can proceed. The Borough reserves the right to cancel an event if conditions pose a risk to public health, safety, or Borough property.
