Submission Information

The Fair Lawn Arts Council invites you to create original works of art in a 6”x 6” format.

Works should be themed for America's 250th Anniversary, American Revolution or the history of our country.

  • 6" x 6" canvas, paper, cardboard, etc. No bigger. No smaller.
  • Maximum of 2 submissions per artist.
  • Mediums can include but are not limited to paint, fabric, paper, crayons, markers, wood, recycled materials, etc.
  • Your work will be displayed at the new Better Daze Café (formerly Bobaly), 13-20A River Rd during March 2026. (Pick up at Better Daze by April 10th)
  • Your work can be offered for sale if you’d like but MUST include a payment QR code.
  • All pieces will be hung with contact strips.
  • Subject matter needs to be family friendly. 
  • Your $10 registration fee will be used for public art & arts programming in Fair Lawn. Thank you!
  • Submission fee is only $10! You may sell your work for more!
  • Please include on the reverse of each submission: your name, address, email, phone number, the title of the piece if any, price per piece if applicable and your payment QR if you are selling your work.
  • Submission fee is $10 per piece which is payable to the Fair Lawn Arts Trust. Please include your payment (cash, check, money order) in an envelope attached securely to your work or in advance with a credit card: https://shorturl.at/uxYrt (Choose “Arts & Cultural Events”)
  • Drop off at Borough Hall, 8-01 Fair Lawn Ave., Room 109 between February 1st- February 21st. **Please do not drop off at Better Daze Cafe.
