Road Division

The Road Division is responsible for the repair and maintenance of the Borough roadways. This includes at total of 81 miles of roadway. Maintenance includes street signs, pot hole repair, assisting Sewer and Water Divisions with closing holes at construction sites, plowing, loose leaf collection and street sweeping. The Road Division is also responsible for maintaining the Borough's storm water drainage system. This system collects storm water runoff from the streets and sends it directly to receiving water, such as a stream, river or other open bodies of water. The water is not processed or filtered at any time.
