Community Center

The Fair Lawn Community Center is a state-of-the-art facility that offers a wide variety of adult, youth and cultural activities. For recreational activities, adults can access the fitness center, walking track or take part in badminton, basketball, pickleball, table tennis and volleyball or take it easy in the card room, which features card games, chess and checkers. Youth sports include all the same activities as the adults', plus access to the youth center. The youth center includes the latest video arcades, air hockey tables, billiards, and a large TV. Check out our schedule for league enrollments or open gym nights.

Many of the Borough’s clubs hold classes and events at the community center. Join an art class with our partners, the Fair Lawn Art Association or learn more about becoming a Ham radio operator through the Fair Lawn Radio Club. Both organizations are located in the Community Center. Drama and musical performances take place in the 170-seat theater. The Fair Lawn Community Center is available to rent for business seminars, corporate events and theatrical productions. The Fair Lawn Recreation and Parks Department is responsible for renting the facility for your theatrical event, concert, corporate event, party or other type of event.

Membership is free of charge for Fair Lawn residents. Some of the classes and activities require a fee. For more information, go to the Recreation Department's page.
