The Fair Lawn Recreation Department held their annual Columbus Day Poster and Essay Contest.
 This event was co-sponsored by the Cosmos Club and the Knights of Columbus.  There were approximately one hundred people in attendance. Columbia Bank checks were distributed to the winners from various
grammar schools and grade levels.  The results from the contest are as follows:
