Dan Kissane who is working for his eagle badge, planned, supervised the sprucing up of Berdan grove park. Dan and his fellow scouts grouped together with the Recreation and Parks department in trimming back trees, applying safety surface to the playground, painting of the building and handball court which had graffiti written all over it. they also sanded and painted some of the wooden benches.
