Memorial Pool:
Memorial Pool is located at the end of Berdan Avenue along the Avenue of Heroes in Fair Lawn's Memorial Park. This sand bottom pool is surrounded by beach sand and includes back beach (grass) areas and shade trees. Memorial Pool is 300 feet across and includes a kiddie swimming area, slides, a raft and areas of depth from 0 to 14 feet. This fully supervised facility also has one main bath house with restrooms and first aid, a non-smoking area, a small snack stand and restroom area, 2 picnic grove areas and a large concession stand with picnic tables.

The Fair Lawn Recreation Department will be opening Memorial Pool on Tuesday, June 22, 2010. The pool opens at 10 am. Memberships can be purchase any time throughout the season during regular business hours (Monday-Sunday 10am-8pm ) or during special pre-sale dates. Saturday and Sunday, June 12, 13, 19, 20   11am-3pm.  
 
Proof of residency is required (valid drivers license, deed or lease.)   Memberships are available only to year round Fair Lawn residents, Borough employees, Borough property owners or those owning and operating a full time business or professional services in Fair Lawn. Proof of residency must be shown by adults for tag purchase. No refunds or transfer of membership fee is permitted.
 
Membership Rates -tax included
 
Family -parents and school aged children-----$160.00
Adult -age 16 and out of school----------------$85.00
Junior -Individual child under age 16---------  $55.00
Senior-Individual age 65 and older-------------$20.00/$20.00 spouse
Non-swimmer -individual using beach, back beach (no swimming!)-free
 
Any Fair Lawn resident who wishes to use Memorial Pool must get a membership or come as a registered member's guest.
2010 guest fees:
Monday-Friday $10.00 per guest
Saturday,Sunday, Holidays -$20.00 per guest
 
Additional information:
Memorial Pool will also be running group swim lessons and the Memorial Pool Swim Team (the Riptide)
Swim Lessons:
Swim lessons are divided into 30 or 45 minute classes depending upon age and ability.
Each session runs Monday-Friday for three weeks and is offered three times throughout the season.
2010 fee: 30 minute class is $45.00
               45 minute class is $60.00
