[Fair Lawn] Morlot Avenue Bridge to Close

The Morlot Ave Bridge over the Passaic River will be CLOSED TO ALL TRAFFIC
beginning May 5 approx 0900 hours. A contractor will be replacing the entire
structure. This project is expected to last 8 months.
	


*	Detours posted on the Fair Lawn side as follows:

.	River Rd northbound, left onto the Maple Ave Bridge into Paterson,
right onto First St, left onto East 22nd St, left onto 2nd Ave, straight to
Route 20. 

.	River Rd southbound, into Elmwood Park, left onto Columbia St, right
onto Parkview Pl, right onto Route 4 west.

*	Detours posted on the Paterson side as follows:

.	Route 20 northbound, right onto the Maple Ave Bridge, right onto
River Rd. 

.	Route 20 southbound, right onto the ramp to Route 4 eastbound, right
onto the ramp to River Rd.

NOTE that the Fair Lawn Ave Bridge can be used for CARS ONLY because of the
3 ton weight limit which is strictly enforced.

*	New Jersey Transit bus route 145 riders will NOT be affected.

*	New Jersey Transit bus route 171 riders will lose service (no bus
stops) only on Morlot Ave from River Rd to the Morlot Ave Bridge.
