[Fair Lawn] Recycling Numbers on the Rise!

For the first time in several years, the January and February recycling
figures are on the rise. Fair Lawn residents have recycled 8.5% (65.64 tons)
more commingle, cardboard and paper than the same period in 2007. This
increase saved the Borough $5,251.20 in garbage disposal fees and earned
$3,791.64 in the sale of recyclables for a total savings of $9,042.84 in two
months.
