Fair Lawn Rescue To Host Boating Safety Course

The United States Power Squadrons will be teaching the required boating
safety course for five consecutive Mondays beginning February 11, 2007 and
ending Monday March 10, 2007. All classes will be held at the Fair Lawn
Rescue Squad Building, 16-01  Romaine Street in Fair Lawn, NJ. The course
will begin at 7:30 PM and conclude at 9:30 PM. Successful completion will
entitle each student a certificate that will be accepted in New Jersey, New
York and Connecticut. The cost of this course is $70 dollars which includes
all materials required and state issued certificate. New Jersey requires
that every person born after January 1, 1949 who operates a boat or PWC must
obtain a Boating Certificate by June 1, 2008.
