[Fair Lawn] Construction Material Collection

The Mayor and Council announce that the Borough of Fair Lawn's garbage
contractor, Cali Carting, will be collecting small amounts of construction
material from residents on their regular garbage day during the week of May
7, 2007. This is the first of two scheduled weeks for construction
collection in 2007. The second construction material collection will be
during the week of October 22, 2007.
Residents should place their construction materials at the curb with their
regular garbage for collection by 6 AM the day of collection. Residents are
limited to four (4) 32 gallon containers or the equivalent of 240 pounds of
construction material. All amounts that exceed this limit will not be
collected. Construction material should be tied or secured when placed at
the curb for collection.
Construction materials include, but are not limited to, sinks, toilets,
plywood, cabinetry, sheet rock, paneling, tubs and scrap wood. Residents are
reminded that recycling regulations will be enforced and the contractor will
not collect metal, cardboard, paper, yard waste, brick, block, stone,
concrete, dirt, rock or hazardous materials with the construction materials.

Section 1 - Wednesday, May 9th
Section 2 - Thursday, May 10th
Section 3 - Monday, May 7th
Section 4 - Tuesday, May 8th
Section 5 - Friday, May 11th
