[Fair Lawn] Diamond Jubilee FREE Concert

The Fair Lawn Diamond Jubilee Band is pleased to announce a wind band 
concert, to take place on Wednesday, Oct. 27, 2004 at Thomas Jefferson 
Middle School, 35-01 Morlot Ave; Fair Lawn, NJ, beginning at 7:30 PM. 
Admission to the performance is free and the public is invited to join 
with members of the band for refreshments and conversation afterwards.
 
 To kick-off of its sixth season the band will perform music from the 
18th through the 20th centuries; from Soler to Sousa, slow to swift, 
soft to stentorian, staid to silly, smooth to strident (enough already). 
Also, our own Sophisticats saxophone quartet will be performing some 
additional selections.
 
 In existence since 1998, the band has been under the direction of Mike 
Christianson and performs 5 full concerts a year, in addition to shorter
