Association of Russian Actors in Montreal, Varpakhovsky Theater presents a
comedy written by two French playwrights Jean Jacques Bricaire and Maurice
Lasaygues.
This is an amazing story about funny events that happen in the family of a
member of the French Parliament.

Ronny Cox

On Saturday April 5th at 8:00pm at the Fair Lawn Community Center, the Hurdy
Gurdy Folk Music Club is proud to present reknowed actor and
singer-songwriter Ronny Cox
performing Songs, Stories and Out & Out Lies. Also appearing will be
special guests The Dirty Stay Out Skifflers.
Ronny Cox is well-known for roles in numerous movies and TV series such as
Stargate SG-1, RoboCop, Beverly Hills Cop, The Onion Field and
Deliverance
(including the legendary "Dueling Banjos" scene). He is also an accomplished
singer/songwriter and storyteller who, with his band of
multi-instrumentalists, showcases an
acoustic mix of folk, western, jazzy-bluesy and just plain corn ball stuff.
He recently released his fifth CD, Ronny Cox At the Sebastiani Theatre, as
well as a DVD of his stage show.
Opening for the evening will be the Dirty Stay Out Skifflers who play jug
band, old timey, blues, folk, country and a variety of other styles of
music. The band includes Dan Berger
on harmonica, Rick Nestler on 12 string guitar and vocals and Donna Nestler
on banjolele, washboard, kazoo and vocals. Rick Nestler is the composer of
the song The River That
Flows Both Ways, a song about the Hudson River that has been recorded by
Pete Seeger.
The Fair Lawn Community Center is located at 10-10 20th Street in Fair Lawn,
NJ. Tickets for this concert are only $25 ($22 for Hurdy Gurdy members) and
can be purchased online at www.hurdygurdyfolk.org or at the box office at
the Fair Lawn Community Center on the night of the concert.
