Dear Music Fan:

ONLY ONE WEEK LEFT!

Acclaimed recording artist Steve Forbert will bring his prodigious
songwriting talents and on-stage showmanship to the Fair Lawn Community
Center on Friday, May 11, 2007 at 8pm. Tickets continue to sell briskly, so
get yours now before it is too late! We've learned that Steve is bringing
ace keyboard player Paul Errico with him, and he will be previewing his new
album (set for release in June), so this will be a very special show.
Philadelphia-based singer-songwriter Matt Roach opens.

For show and ticket information call 201-794-5372 or go to

Forbert's 1978 debut album, Alive on Arrival, held a place in the Top 100
for months, showcasing his trademark acoustic guitar, harmonica and
rough-hewn voice along with accompaniment by David Sanborn on the alto sax.
His second album, 1980's Jackrabbit Slim, spawned radio hits "Say Goodbye to
Little Jo" and the top-10 smash "Romeo's Tune," catapulting him to
international fame. Both "Romeo's Tune" and another of his hits, "Goin' Down
to Laurel," recently have been licensed for inclusion in a movie titled
"Margot at the Wedding," which will star Nicole Kidman and Jack Black and is
slated for a fall 2007 release.

As mainstream musical tastes changed in the late 1980s and 1990s, Forbert's
commercial success ebbed, but his powerful songwriting and performing talent
did not. He has continued to perform exciting and memorable shows in North
America and Europe, while releasing more than 20 critically acclaimed
albums. His dedicated fan base spans the globe.

In Fair Lawn, Forbert will no doubt play some tunes from his upcoming album,
Strange Names & New Sensations, slated for release on June 25. Hope to see
you there!

"No matter how uplifting Mr. Forbert intends his lyrics to be, his
gorgeously ragged voice makes every song on Just Like There's Nothin' to It
a soulful lament, making him a sort of male Billie Holiday within his
singer-songwriter Southern rock genre."
The New York Times

"Forbert shows time and again that he possesses a songwriting ability that
combines a sharp wit and finely tuned melodic sense."
Pulse!

"Veteran folkie Steve Forbert makes it look easy on Just Like There's
Nothin' to It. But there's plenty of heart, soul and turmoil boiling beneath
his casually rough-hewn vocals in slice-of-life gems "
Knight-Ridder Newspapers
