The Mayor and Council announce that they have amended the temporary layoff (furlough) of all employees not assigned to the Fair Lawn Police Department. On furlough days, Borough offices (except the Police Department) will be closed. This includes the Senior Center, Recycling Center and mini-bus service. The remaining furlough days are as follows:

Friday, September 24
Friday, October 1
Friday, October 8
Friday, October 22
Friday, November 12
Thursday, December 23
The Mayor and Council wish to thank the residents and businesses of Fair Lawn for their understanding and cooperation during the furlough days.
