Princess Ida, a comic opera, concerns a princess who founds a women's university and teaches that women are superior to men and should rule in their stead. The prince to whom she had been married in infancy sneaks into the university, together with two friends, with the aim of collecting his bride. Comedian Eric Lyden will be performing a one-hour comedy special fundraiser for Brandon Higgins. Fair Lawn’s own, Brandon, is a 23 year old survivor of brain cancer, but his victorious fight was also devastating and debilitating, leaving Brandon without the ability to eat, stand, or even speak. 100% of all ticket sales will go towards the purchase of a specialized medical van for Brandon and his family.
